Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime Support Contract
The Acquisition Logistics Company provides pre-award acquisition and inventory management support to the Defense Supply Center Columbus. Specifically, we focus on the sourcing and procurement of spare parts for the military’s Mine Resistant Ambush Protected Vehicle MRAP program. This includes conducting market research and preparing solicitation and source selection documents, cost and price evaluations, and recommendations for award of contracts to responsible vendors. This work is being performed under sub-contract with Cherokee Information Services, Inc.
Defense Logistics Agency Aviation Backorder Reduction Support Contract
The Acquisition Logistics Company provided supply chain management expertise to the Defense Supply Center Richmond under the Defense Logistics Agency as a subcontractor to Bering Straits Information Technology. This initiative focused on improving the supply chain responsiveness for critical aviation components required by the military services. The Acquisition Logistics Company evaluated the performance of existing supplier contracts with equipment manufacturers and distributors to facilitate process improvements resulting in improved material flow to the “on the ground” military aviation unit.
